Mathavinte Vanakkamasam (Month of Mother Mary – May)

May is a month where the families in the different family units of our parish (Earlsfort, Liffey Valley & Adamstown, Cellbridge, and Palmerstown) get together in their respective areas in order to pray the Holy Rosary and request for the divine intercession of Mother Mary in our lives. The Holy Rosary is prayed in different houses of each family unit on each day followed by tea and biscuits. The Vanakkamasam prayers end with holy mass being celebrated by all mass centres jointly at Knock Shrine, Co. Mayo towards the end of May-12. This year however, the mass is being held on 19-May due to non-availability of the parish on later dates. The prayers in the houses of the families will continue till the end of May-12.
